Our award-winning installation Along with procuring beautiful stone for the 520 West 28th Street luxury apartments, our mandate was to engineer and execute an artistic feature stone wall in the lobby area. Artfully carved from smokey gray Grigio Brasile marble, the wall creates a breathtaking piece of art that expands 34 feet across the lobby.

The initial phase of the project started with sourcing marble blocks in Greece, where we ensured that the materials had just the right color variations for this monochromatic design. Our teams worked closely with the architects to refine the layouts to allow for an exact installation process. Next, the stone was shipped from Greece to Italy for a highly detailed fabrication process before arriving in New York City ready to be installed like a giant 3D puzzle.

This project is an example of a unique collaboration of creativity, experience, and craftsmanship. We’re proud to say that this work of art is a standing landmark that shows how vision, combined with skill and engineering, can push stone design to the limits.
